Janice Wright, a native of Randolph County, joined the Roanoke Realty team in the summer of 2007. Her infectious personality and strong work ethic have given her an edge in this real estate market. Janice's first career was as a registered nurse but she has chosen to leave the medical field and make a career of out real estate. Janice previously held a Georgia Real Estate license and worked the Newnan and west Georgia real estate market but has decided to come home to Roanoke and build her business here. She has strong experience in commercial real estate and land. Janice can be found in the Roanoke Realty office full-time and is always flexible for appointments.
Lester Shepherd joined our team in 2010 after moving here from the Atlanta area. He is retired from two earlier careers and is working on his third as Real Estate Agent & Entrpreneur in Roanoke, AL. Land is Lester's specialty and he would love to talk to you about whatever you are looking for in Randolph or Chambers County. He is available by appointment 24/7 for showings and listing land, commercial & special residential properties.
Roanoke Realty was founded in 2001 John Graves. He and his wife, Ruth, worked hard for 5 years to bring that "personal touch" to real estate that you expect to find in a small southern town. In 2006, John decided to move on to another adventure in real estate and turned over the reigns to a team of qualified individuals.
The current Qualifying Broker/Owner of Roanoke Realty is Karen Dean. Karen has been with Roanoke Realty since September 2006. She has actively worked the Roanoke real estate market since earning her Salesperson's License in December 2002. She briefly left the business to pursue another career, but quickly decided that Roanoke Real Estate was the only career that interests her. She can be found in the Roanoke Realty office full time Monday through Friday 9am-5pm, unless she is out listing or showing properties.
